Membership
More than 300,000 homes and businesses throughout Wisconsin are served by public power utilities. Our organization exists to help "unify and strengthen" community-owned utilities and to provide them with the support they need to enhance services to their customers and community.
Any person or organization considered a Member of MEUW agrees to abide by the Member Engagement Principles adopted by the association's Board of Directors, which define the manner in which those associated with MEUW engage with and treat one another.
Our membership falls into three categories:
| Municipal Utilities: Municipalities in the State of Wisconsin which own and operate electric utilities |

| Associate Members: Consultants, manufacturers, and distributors of utility equipment and supplies, as well as other organizations or individuals with a desire to support public power (excluding privately-owned utilities or privately-owned utility organizations) |

| Affiliate Members: Municipalities and not-for-profit electric utilities that do not qualify for full membership, but are interested in participating in MEUW programs and services |
