Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership in MEUW
Since its founding in 1928, full membership in Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin has been offered exclusively to municipalities in the State of Wisconsin that own and operate electric utilities. Beginning in 2022, the MEUW Board of Directors amended the association’s Bylaws to offer an Affiliate Membership to any municipality and not-for-profit electric utility that does not qualify for full membership, but is interested in participating in MEUW’s programs and services.
Affiliate Membership is different from an Associate Membership, which is open to vendors, consultants, manufacturers, and distributors of utility equipment and supplies, or any other organization, or individual (excluding a privately-owned utility or a privately-owned utility organization).
> Details about the benefits of Affiliate Membership are here.
