Don Harnisch joined MEUW as Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator in December 2022. Previously, he worked as Line Superintendent for the City of New Lisbon Municipal Electric Utility, a role he held since August 2020. Don has more than 35 years of electric line experience, including more than 20 years of supervisory experience. He began work as a line apprentice for the former Wisconsin Power & Light Co. (now part of Alliant Energy) in 1986. He also worked as a paramedic instructor at Mid-State Technical College for more than 15 years. Don provides hands-on, on-the-job training to lineworkers and other electric personnel across the state.

Randy Larson joined MEUW as Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator in August 2018. His four-decade career in line work began with Electrical Power Distribution school in Eau Claire in 1982. Before finishing the program, he was hired at Jump River Electric Cooperative as temporary help. After gaining experience with a contractor in Minnesota, Randy joined the municipal electric utility in Richland Center in 1986, and completed his State of Wisconsin Apprenticeship in 1988. He became the State of Wisconsin Apprenticeship Instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) in 1992 and taught there for 26 years, retiring in 2018.
