Don Harnisch joined MEUW as Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator in December 2022. Previously, he worked as Line Superintendent for the City of New Lisbon Municipal Electric Utility, a role he held since August 2020. Don has more than 35 years of electric line experience, including more than 20 years of supervisory experience. He began work as a line apprentice for the former Wisconsin Power & Light Co. (now part of Alliant Energy) in 1986. He also worked as a paramedic instructor at Mid-State Technical College for more than 15 years. Don provides hands-on, on-the-job training to lineworkers and other electric personnel across the state.

Randy Larson joined MEUW as Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator in August 2018. His four-decade career in line work began with Electrical Power Distribution school in Eau Claire in 1982. Before finishing the program, he was hired at Jump River Electric Cooperative as temporary help. After gaining experience with a contractor in Minnesota, Randy joined the municipal electric utility in Richland Center in 1986, and completed his State of Wisconsin Apprenticeship in 1988. He became the State of Wisconsin Apprenticeship Instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) in 1992 and taught there for 26 years, retiring in 2018. Damian Pasch joined MEUW in March 2026, bringing more than two decades of electric line work experience to his role as Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator. Most recently he worked as the sole lineman for the Village of Wonewoc since November 2021. He previously worked as a journeyman lineman for Bangor Municipal Utility (2019-2021), Riverland Energy Cooperative (2011-2019), and Madison Gas and Electric Co. (2004-2011). Damian earned a technical diploma in Electric Power Distribution from Blackhawk Technical College in 2003 and holds an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Technical Studies from Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC), which was awarded in 2022. Damian currently lives in Ontario, Wis., located in eastern Vernon County.

John Salscheider joined MEUW as Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator in March 2026. He has more than 16 years of experience as a journeyman lineman at Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities (OFMU). He completed the Power Line Construction & Maintenance program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2009 and the Electrical Utility & Power Distribution program at CVTC in 2012. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities with OFMU, John has regularly led hands-on electrical safety demonstrations with middle and high school students and provided volunteer support for the Journeyman Lineman hands-on testing at CVTC. Before his career in line work, John served in the U.S. Marine Corps (2003-2007).
