MEUW Cancellation Policy

MEUW is honored to host a wide range of events throughout the year. In an effort to maintain a diverse and relevant slate of high-quality events, please review MEUW’s official event cancellation policy.


Registration Cancellation by Participant:
  • Cancellations received after the registration deadline, are eligible to receive a refund less a $35 administrative service fee.
  • Cancellations received six business days or less prior to the day of the event, will be credited twenty-five percent of the registration fee.
  • No refund will be available for registrants who cancel the day of the event or choose not to attend an event.
  • You may avoid the cancellation penalty by transferring your registration to another person from your utility. If you would like to send a substitute, please contact MEUW.

Notification of Cancellation:
Notice of cancellation should be made to MEUW by phone 608-837-2263 and must be received by the stated deadlines. A formal request for a refund should be made in writing via email.

The full or partial waiver of registration fees charged in accordance with this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Event Cancellation by MEUW:
MEUW reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If MEUW cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. MEUW accepts no responsibility for travel arrangements or any other actual or perceived loss due to cancellation of an event.

Please note that while speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, MEUW reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics.
