Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin (MEUW) is currently recruiting for an Electric Utility Safety and Training Coordinator. MEUW supports municipal lineworkers across Wisconsin, providing customized hands-on training to help keep them safe. Our on-the-job training and safety program offers high-quality, on-site continuing education built on mutual respect. We’re looking for driven, self-motivated, collaborative, and engaging candidates. This position requires daily travel, including some overnights depending on the applicant’s residency. A minimum of five (5) years’ practical electric linework experience is required, including a journeyman lineworker certification. Experience in electric line work for municipal utilities is preferred.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to build rapport with lineworkers of all experience levels and gain their buy-in about safe and efficient work practices is essential to success.

Preference will be given to applicants who also demonstrate an interest and proficiency in using technology, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
