MEUW is a sponsor of the Badger State Electric Power Distribution (EPD) Rodeo, which is set for Thursday, April 11, in Beaver Dam. The event is hosted by Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) and attracts nine-month EPD students from Milwaukee Area Technical College, Blackhawk Technical College, North Central Technical College, and MPTC. The Rodeo is intended to support teambuilding through inter-collegiate competition and showcase necessary trade skills with an emphasis on safe work practices.
MEUW representatives will be attending to get a sense of how the Rodeo is organized and to talk with spectators and participants. All are welcome. Competition events begin around 10 a.m. and wrap up by 2:30. There is no cost to attend.
