There's a shortage of skilled workers throughout the American economy, and it is a persistent problem that affects communities across Wisconsin. Our organization is committed to helping build a pipeline of talent to fill job openings with municipal utilities now and in the future. Help us energize the next generation of municipal workers.
To raise awareness of these opportunities, we're sponsoring a unique cross-country race that attracts thousands of high school student-athletes and their families. The “Nightfall Classic” brings together competitive runners from around Wisconsin for three exciting events. MEUW supports the events because we want to remind young people and their families that jobs with municipal utilities are available and worth considering.
Muni jobs combine public service with rewarding career opportunities across a wide range of roles, including electric line workers, customer service associates, engineers, finance managers and accountants, and many others.
