More than $100 billion in federal grants are being made available to support a wide range of projects, including many that apply to municipal utilities. The funding is provided mainly through grants coming out of the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act. The grants are being released through a combination of federal departments and state agencies.
Power System Engineering (PSE) recently hosted a webinar to raise awareness and to encourage thinking about projects that might be applicable for funding, as well as to discuss steps municipal utilities you can take now (such as getting a DUNs number, for example).
