The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that an employer ensure prompt first aid treatment for injured employees. OSHA’s standard for first aid training in general industry, 29 CFR 1910.151(b), says, “a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available.”
Providing access to First Aid/CPR+AED/Bloodborne Pathogen training is a low-cost way to protect employees, as well as putting the employer clearly in compliance with the OSHA standards.
Upon completion of the four-hour training, successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR+AED/Bloodborne Pathogen valid for two years.
