Wisconsin expects to be well represented at the 2025 APPA Legislative Rally taking place on Feb. 24-26 in Washington D.C. Municipal utility leaders from public power communities across the state participate in the annual event, which offers a unique opportunity to inform members of Congress and their staffs about the value of public power and the impact of federal action on local, community-owned utilities.

MEUW has scheduled two pre-rally virtual meetings for Wisconsin participants in the D.C. rally.
Based on feedback from last year’s attendees, the meetings are scheduled for later in the day.
- First-time attendees will meet on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 4:30 p.m. to learn more about what to expect.
- All rally-goers will be invited to a virtual session on Monday, Feb. 17 at 4:30 p.m. for the purpose of reviewing talking points and confirming logistics.
