This two-day training is specifically for utility personnel to provide in-depth regulatory training on current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for veteran and new employees. The training conforms to OSHA requirements and provides basic awareness education about the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. The training also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and filing a complaint.
Training will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 8 and 9.
Who Should Attend?
This training is beneficial for lineworkers, supervisors, foremen, utility superintendents and anyone who has an active role in the safety of utilities and their employees.
Each participant that sucessfully completes the class will receive a certificate of completion and an OSHA pocket card.
