Power System Engineering (PSE) will host this 60-minute webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. to review upcoming federal grants your municipal utility could tap into for various projects. The grants will be released through a combination of federal departments and state agencies. Overall program objectives have been released, while the specific program details will be developed over the next two to three months. This webinar will help utilities begin preparing for grant opportunities with an understanding of the range of available funding.
Over $100 billion in grants are being made available to support a wide range of projects, including:
- Distribution Grid Resiliency – Existing Programs and R&D
- Energy Improvement – Rural & Remote Areas
- Technology for Smart Grid
- EV Charging Network
- Middle Mile Fiber
- Hydro Efficiency and Improvement
: This will be an introductory meeting to raise awareness and to encourage thinking about projects that might be applicable for funding, as well as to discuss steps you can take now, such as getting a DUNs number, etc. PSE is also working with MEUW and plans to provide an update at MEUW's Annual Conference
when more detailed information will likely have been released.
> There is no cost to attend. Registration is NOT required.
The webinar will be conducted using Microsoft Teams.
