Village of Pardeeville Electric Utility - Journeyman Lineman

Village of Pardeeville Electric Utility is accepting applications for the position of Journeyman Lineman. Wage range is $36.50-$39.50 + depending on qualifications.  Qualified applicant must hold a valid journeyman lineman card, high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain and maintain a Wisconsin commercial driver’s license within six months of employment.  This is a skilled position in operating, maintaining and constructing an electrical distribution system and other duties as directed by the Administrator/Director of Public Works. Applicant will need working knowledge of an electric distribution system, metering and substations. Also required is the ability to work in all types of weather conditions and some heavy lifting. This position requires the ability to respond to emergency calls and some afterhours work when required. The Village of Pardeeville offers competitive wages and a benefits package. Drug and Alcohol testing is required. Position will be open until filled. Village of Bangor Municipal Electric Utility – Electric Utility Manager

The Bangor Municipal Utility is accepting applications for the position of Electric Utility Manager. This is a skilled managerial position performing complex supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning (including budget), organizing, directing, supervising, and working within the Electric Utility. Applicant must also hold a valid journeyman lineman card and have working knowledge of an electric distribution system, line construction, metering, and substations. This position requires the ability to respond to emergency calls and some afterhours work when warranted including stand-by rotations. Ideal candidate will have 10 years of lineman experience or 5 years of training relating to the construction and operation of an electric utility. Accounting degree or previous municipal managerial experience is desired. 

The Electric Utility Manager is a confidential position. The Bangor Municipal Utility offers an excellent benefit package to include: health and life insurance, Wisconsin Retirement System, vacation, holiday, and sick pay benefits. Salary range is between $92,300 to $95,000 annually with additional pay for stand-by and emergency hours.

City of Oconomowoc  - Water Operator ( First Class)

The City of Oconomowoc seeks full-time Water Foreman.  The position is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, infrastructure needs of the City’s Water Distribution System.  The position is responsible for supervising the Water Operators.

Village of Sauk City -- Utility Billing Clerk
The Village of Sauk City is seeking candidates for a full-time Utility Billing Clerk. The Utility Billing Clerk will perform a full range of clerical duties supporting the operation of the municipal government and utilities department. Exceptional clerical, accounting, and customer service skills are required. Experience with accounting practices, utility services, payroll, AP/AR, and bank reconciliation is expected. There are a variety of routine and complex clerical and utility functions including processing monthly meter readings, preparing utility reports, monthly utility bills and past dues, receipting payments, assisting with tax collections, and numerous other duties.

Desired qualifications: High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelors Degree in Business preferred. Exceptional written and oral communication skills and strong proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite. Caselle Clarity software experience desired. Wage range $18.00 to $20.00 based on qualifications and an excellent benefit package included. The City of Hartford - Account Clerk

The City of Hartford is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time position in the Finance Department.  This position is responsible for utility billing functions and processes within the NorthStar utility billing system while assisting in the collection, receipt, and processing of municipal revenues.  Other responsibilities include the reconciliation of utility genreal lefger accounts and serving as backup support for various general accounting functions.  Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and excellentcustomer service skills.  Experience in NorthStar Utility billing software and governmental accounting a plus.  This job is ideal for those that desire consistent hours, great benefits, and a business casual atmosphere along with competitive pay (starting salary of $19.80 per hour).
