2022 District Dinners

District Dinners are returning to MEUW’s Calendar of Events this fall. These get-togethers are a long-standing tradition — and among the many traditions that were paused due to the pandemic. Those who have attended in the past know the gatherings are a great opportunity to catch up with public power colleagues, enjoy a meal and discuss what’s happening in our industry and with your association.

Every member member utility is encouraged to send one or more representatives to help make the gatherings informative and worthwhile for everyone. In addition to networking, MEUW’s Tim Heinrich will provide a brief presentation to discuss issues affecting municipal utilities, including the PSC’s open docket related to third-party financing for renewable energy projects. MEUW’s new Director of Legislative and Regulatory Relations Tyler Vorpagel also plans to attend each session to introduce himself to members.

MEUW members are encouraged to attend whichever dinner meeting is most convenient (whether it is in your district or not). After the event, MEUW will bill each utility for the guests who attend from that community; the cost will vary depending upon location, menu and attendees.

Pre-registration is required to enable an accurate headcount for each restaurant. Registration will open in early September, and attendees are asked to sign up at least one week before the gathering.
