Regional Safety Management
Program
Helping communities instill a safe work environment through
training, quality programs and hands on leadership |
|
The Wisconsin
Department of Commerce (DCOMM) Administrative Code 32.11 states:
“Each employer shall develop and implement a safety and health program
that describes the procedures, methods, processes and practices used to
manage workplace safety and health.”

The fact is that most Wisconsin communities do not have the
resources to individually maintain an adequate safety compliance
program. MEUW’s Regional Safety Program brings several municipalities
with similar needs together to share the investment and benefits
of a safety coordinator.

"I'm not sure how a village the
size of Muscoda could maintain compliance with all the training, written
programs and regulations. MEUW's Regional Safety Program is the
perfect tool for village and city administrators who want to be
compliant, but also want their employees to learn proper safety
procedures."
Anthony Broadbent, Village President, Village of Muscoda |
