Utilities is recruiting
for an individual to fill an Electrical Engineer position.
This position is responsible to assist with the study, design, and
operation of electric, communications, gas, and generation system
additions and changes, and perform general engineering related
projects. This position will also assist with NERC and EPA
Compliance standards. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor
degree in Electrical Engineering. Four years of engineering
experience preferred. Applicant must live or be willing to relocate
within the service territory of the Marshfield utility. Resumes

Position: Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin (MEUW),
a state association of 82 community-owned electric utilities, is
seeking a full-time Regional Safety Coordinator to assist
Wisconsin municipal employers develop and manage their occupational
safety and health regulatory compliance program.
Responsibilities: The primary function of this
position is to provide comprehensive safety services that ensure
employer compliance and maintain a safe workplace through written
programs, hazard identification inspections/audits, risk management,
recordkeeping, and employee training.
Location: This position serves municipal employees and
requires regular travel to four regional group employers located in
northwest Wisconsin. The successful candidate will reside in or
relocate to within the group service territory (the cities of River
Falls and Menomonie, the counties of St. Croix and Chippewa).
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a
minimum of 3 years practical experience in a safety related field
and have a working knowledge of OSHA regulations. Candidate must
demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
combined with proficient computer skills. Must be
able to efficiently manage multiple projects, work as part of a
safety team and demonstrate a proven ability to effectively lead
employees to foster a safe work
environment. Experience working in
municipal government and completion of an Occupational Health
and Safety degree or related discipline is preferred.
