Position is under general direction of appointed Shawano Utility Commission (SMU) and Badger Power Marketing Authority (BPMA). The community owned utilities entity (surrounding area population of approximately 15,000) is located within an hour of Green Bay, Appleton and Wausau, Wisconsin. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field; minimum of three (3) years of experience in a responsible managerial position in an electric or utility-related field; or any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. The candidate should have substantial working knowledge of utility operations and support functions including finance, administration, planning, and engineering. Knowledge of sound management principles and practices demonstrated leadership abilities. Candidate requires well-developed human relations and communications skills.
