The City of Clintonville (population 4,700) is accepting
resumes for the position of Public Utilities Manager to
oversee the Electric, Water and Sewer Utilities. This full time
position reports directly to the City Administrator. Various duties
include supervising and directing the activities of the daily
maintenance, equipment, buildings, ground repairs, construction
projects and budgets for all three utilities. There are a total of
10 employees that report to the Manager. Due to the size of the
operation the qualified candidate must be willing to complete field
work alongside the employees. The ideal candidate will have three to
five years management experience in at least two of the three
utilities. Also required are relevant certifications in one or more
of the following: Journeyman-Lineman, Wastewater Operator and
various WI-DNR Water certifications. Computer skills are required.

Superintendent Trainee due to the planned retirement of
the current superintendent scheduled for January 2009. The utility
recently completed a rebuild of 75 percent of its distribution lines
and installed two new 2,250 kW generators. This position is
responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of
overhead and underground high voltage distribution systems and
generation capacity. Applicants shall have completed a
