  • Administers "Friends of Public Power" (MEUW’s political conduit)

 

bd14582_.gif (185 bytes) CONGRESS: Through MEUW’s affiliation with the American Public Power Association (APPA), we monitor congressional initiatives and federal agency initiatives on a national level as they relate to MEUW members. MEUW works with WPPI Energy to coordinate participation in APPA’s Annual Legislative Rally, held each spring in Washington, D.C.

 
bd14582_.gif (185 bytes) PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION: MEUW monitors all PSC dockets involving the municipal utility industry, paying special attention to electric and telecommunications issues, intervening when and where appropriate.
