Her work also includes telecommunications-related contracts, pole attachments, video franchise issues, intergovernmental agreements and advising municipalities on right-of-way issues.

She is the leading expert on electric territory issues, representing municipal utilities at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin and in state courts.

Who Should Attend?

The seminar will be targeted to utility managers and their staff, and other local leaders from their communities such as administrators, planners and attorneys.

About the Seminar

More and more municipal electric utilities are experiencing territory and right-to-serve challenges with neighboring utilities. These types of issues can be very challenging for a locally owned utility to address from many perspectives. It is very important to the long-term success of our municipal utilities that service territories are protected, and that we are postioned well for future growth potential.

MEUW and WPPI Energy will sponsor this half-day workshop that will focus on electric service territorial law in Wisconsin, touching on broader territory considerations and more specific customer right-to-serve situations. Ms. Gallucci also will discuss some recent work within the public power group and what lessons may be concluded from their experiences. There will be ample time for discussion.

Participants will receive a binder with reference material, including copies of the presentation, sample territorial agreements, relevent state laws and Publice Service Commission of Wisconsin administrative code sections, and key cases.

MEUW last sponsored a similar seminar in 2012, which was very well attended. Participants found the session to be extrememly informative and the information useful.
