Bangor Municipal Utility - Journeyman Lineman

Bangor Municipal Utility is looking for a full-time Journeyman Lineman. The individual hired will work as part of a four-person team responsible for day-to-day operation, maintenance and repair of BMU’s municipal electric system. Background in electric system maintenance and construction along with computer skills is desired. Bangor Municipal offers a competitive wage and benefit package. A commercial driver’s license is required. The City of Plymouth - Director of Public Works/City Engineer 
The City of Plymouth is taking applications for a Director of Public Works/City Engineer position.  The Director of Public Works/City Engineer is responsible for the successful operation of the City’s Public Works Department and Water/Sewer Divisions of Plymouth Utilities including; building maintenance, engineering, sanitation, recycling, storm sewer, water and sewer utilities, forestry, cemeteries, parks and recreation facilities, and other public works projects and programs.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited program.  Professional Engineer’s licensure registration in the State of Wisconsin or ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment.  Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and methods as applicable to a municipal setting; thorough knowledge of applicable City policies, laws and regulations affective Public Works Department and water/sewer activities; knowledge of the sources of engineering information and ability to apply modern engineering methods, a thorough knowledge of the principles of municipal budgeting, must have significant understanding of modern computing operating systems, engineering and office software and proficiency in the use of a personal computer including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, SCADA and CAD mapping systems.  Salary is $92,500 +/- depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.  Applications are available on the City’s website at www.plymouthgov.com.  Select Citizen Info and then Employment.

Wisconsin Rapids Water Works and Lighting Commission - Accountant
Wisconsin Rapids Water Works and Lighting Commission (WW&LC), a progressive municipally owned electric and water utility serving approximately 14,000 electric and 8,000 water customers, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time accountant position. This position reports to the Director of Finance.

 
Well qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, utility or government accounting experience, proficiency with Microsoft and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems, and familiarity with pertinent laws, codes, and regulations.  Strong analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting are also required.

The Juneau Utility Commission is seeking a full time, qualified lead water/wastewater operator to work at Juneau’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.  The qualified applicant should have necessary water and wastewater licenses.  Work Area:  Wastewater Treatment Plant, N5204 County Road W, Juneau, WI  53039.  Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  Full time, some weekend work required.  Description: Operate treatment facilities, monitor City wells, laboratory analysis, maintenance, record keeping, repair water and sewer mains, assume responsibility of superintendent in their absence.  Qualifications: Technical college degree/diploma and experience.
