Seasonal Water Operator 
Plymouth Utilities, which serves over 8,000 electric customers and approximately 3,600 water and sewage customers, seeks a qualified person for the position of a seasonal, full-time water operator.  Under the direction of the water foreman, the primary responsibilities are performing various semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the city’s water department.  Applicant should have experience in performing such work and high school diploma or GED equivalent and possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Wastewater Operator -  Plymouth Utilities, which serves over 8,000 electric customers and approximately 3,600 water and sewage customers, seeks a qualified person for the position of  a full-time wastewater operator.  Under the direction of the wastewater superintendent, the primary responsibilities are performing various semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the city’s wastewater treatment facilities.  Applicant should have experience in performing such work and associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in wastewater treatment/environmental science or one to three years of related experience and/or training required.  Possess a valid Wisconsin commercial driver license (CDL) with endorsement N preferred at hire but required within one-year of employment.

The City of River Falls-SCADA Engineer
The City of River Falls is looking for a candidate who is detail orientated and has the ability to perform upgrades to our SCADA system and assist with implementation of our Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) for electric and water utility.

The City of New Lisbon-Journeyman Lineworker
City of New Lisbon, a municipal electric and water utility, is accepting applications for a Journeyman Lineworker. This is a skilled position in operating, maintaining, and constructing electric distribution, transmission, and substation systems. Minimum qualifications are to include graduation from high school and graduation from lineman vocational training program. Completion of a four-year Lineworker Apprenticeship program is preferred.

Water System Operator
Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is inviting applications for the position of Water System Operator.   This full-time water department position primarily involves duties that include the control, operation, and maintenance of the state-of-the-art Microfiltration Water Treatment Plant and related production facilities, and maintenance and repair of the water distribution system and related facilities. Working hours are primarily first shift, with occasional second shift and weekend work.
 
Minimum requirements to apply include completion of a two-year associate degree supplemented by technical school courses in the water field. The possession of a WDNR Operator Certification in Groundwater, Distribution, or a Subclass S Surface Water certification from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is preferred. Journeyman Line Technician
Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU), Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking applications for the position of Journeyman Line Technician. This is a full-time position and requires constructing and maintaining electric power facilities up to 69 kilovolts.

Minimum requirements to apply include Journeyman certification in Electric Line Trade and minimum five years of journeyman experience. A two-year degree in a related field of study is preferred but will consider the right candidate with equivalent training and experience. MPU offers competitive wages and benefits. Starting wage between $32 and $40 per hour depending on qualifications.

City of Elroy - City Administrator
Elroy, home of the Elroy-Sparta State Bike Trail and the 400 State Bike Trail, as well as the Omaha County Bike Trail, and located in West Central Wisconsin, is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of City Administrator.  This position serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Elroy and is responsible for the proper administration of all activities of the City. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will oversee all aspects of city government, including responsibilities over all departments, budget development and implementation, utility management, streets, tourism and parks. 

The Common Council desires an individual with experience in city budgets, personnel management, utility management, code enforcement, planning and development. Must be an effective communicator with strong leadership skills and a commitment to citizen service. City of Arcadia - Utility Billing Clerk/Deputy Treasurer
The City of Arcadia, Wisconsin seeks a qualified applicant for the position of Full-Time Utility Billing Clerk/Deputy Treasurer.  The candidate selected will perform all utility billing duties, and will work closely with the clerk-treasurer and electric, water and wastewater superintendents regarding utility billing issues, rates, and reports. This position will back up the City Treasurer in general ledger balancing. This position includes various customer service functions, including, but not limited to, answering the phone for city hall on a rotating basis, waiting on customers, and collecting payments.  This position also includes uploading and maintaining on-line mapping in Beehive. Organization, accuracy, attention to detail, handling money and confidentiality are required.  The successful candidate will have an associate’s degree in accounting or at least 3 years of experience. City of Shawano - Finance Director
The City of Shawano, Wisconsin and the Shawano Municipal Utilities invite applications for the Finance Director position.  The Finance Director is a key member of the City and Utility management team, supporting department heads with budget and financial expertise and providing monthly reports and presentations to the City Council and SMU Commission as well as periodic interaction with City committees and commissions.  The Finance Director supervises the utility/city finance department staff of six and will engage daily with finance staff, senior management, and elected/appointed officials.  The Director will have contact with customers and citizens.

The position is responsible for the financial management, oversight, and reporting for all fiscal activities of the City of Shawano, Shawano Municipal Utilities (SMU), and the Badger Power Marketing Authority (BPWAand subsidiary funds.  Principal duties include: oversight of the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, debt administration, budget preparation, cash flow management, and utility billing/collections; preparing the general ledge and financial statements for the annuals financial audits, and preparing accurate regulatory reports , monthly financial statements, cash flow and performance reports.

Salary:  $75,000 to $95,000 plus generous benefits and relocation allowance.

Position Requirements: Require Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and experience performing upper-level accounting and financial management/analysis, including supervisory experience.  CMA or CPA certification and direct experience in municipal budgeting, utility accounting/finance and/or municipal fund accounting/finance are desired.
