City of Stoughton - Assistant Director of Finance/City Treasurer
City of Stoughton is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance/City Treasurer.  This position will be accountable for the overall direction of the financial activities of the City including Utilities; (2) coordinate all Utilities-related accounting and information processing functions with the Assistant Utilities Director; (3) carry out City Treasurer functions; (4) perform critical accounting and fiscal management functions in accordance with City and Utilities goals and objectives. In addition, the Assistant Director of Finance/City Treasurer will back-up the Director of Finance/Comptroller and Assistant Utilities Director. Westby Electric Utility - Journey-Level Electric Line Worker
Municipally-owned Westby Electric Utility an EOE is accepting applications for a Journeyman Electric Line Worker or Apprentice. May consider someone with intentions of becoming a Line Worker.  Position requires a CDL, may require occasional after hour call-outs and possible work in inclement weather. Applicant must pass a drug test. Applicant must be able to respond to emergency situations in a reasonable response time and must reside within 15 miles of the Westby City limits with one year to relocate. Knowledge of safety rules and good communication skills are very important. An excellent benefit package is provided to utility employees. Starting Journeyman wage is $38.00-$40.00 per hour. Village of New Glarus - Public Works Director
Village of New Glarus is seeking a full-time Public Works Director.  The director will lead a staff of seven full-time employees and direct, administer and supervise all of the street, sewer, stormwater, water, electric, building maintenance, and fleet activities within the Village. Minimum requirements include: High School Diploma or equivalent and supplemented by two years of college or vocational training in civil engineering/technology, public or business administration or related field; and at least five years’ experience municipal public works management and/or operations. Highly desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, public or business administration or related field, with at least seven years progressive municipal public works management and technical experience, including managing municipal utilities. City of Clintonville - Line Foreman
This skilled position is responsible for oversight and supervision of the line crew as the lead worker. The work consists of performing the maintenance, repair, construction, and operation of the overhead and underground electrical systems. Applicants must have the ability to perform strenuous physical labor and work with energized lines in all types of weather. Applicants must also follow all safety rules and deal with the public in a professional manner. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience as a Journeyman Lineman. Applicants must also have a Wisconsin driver's license upon hire and be able to obtain a CDL within six months of hire. Previous experience as a foreman is not required but is highly desirable. Applicants must possess the necessary skills and knowledge to act as a lead worker. Applicants must also pass a physical exam and drug and alcohol screening. This postion requires the applicant to serve on-call or standby duties at regular intervals and be able to respond to emergencies in a reasonable response time. Menasha Utilities - Engineering Technician
Menasha Utilities is accepting applications for the position of Engineering Technician. Menasha Utilities is a Wisconsin municipal utility serving over 9,100 electric customers in a community of 17,437. The Engineering Technician shall be responsible for assisting the Technical Service Engineer, GIS Specialist, Distribution Technician, Metering Department and Engineering Manager. This is a management position responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects of the water, electric and telecommunications utility. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to engineering, electric and water metering, special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager, organizing maintenance activities involved in the substations and electric distribution, supervising contractor activities, GIS/CAD mapping, construction standards.
